Meeting on office hours of State sector concludes undecided 

The National Labour Advisory Council meeting to determine on State sector office hours ended undecided yesterday.

The objective of the discussion was to revise office hours as a measure to reduce traffic congestion amidst the escalating energy crisis.

The meeting was chaired by the Labour Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva. 

Labour Ministry Secretary Mapa Pathirana, Labour Department Commissioner General Prabath Chandrakeerthi, trade union leaders, employers, ministry and department officials also attended the meeting.
