The transfer of former Minister Rajitha Senaratne from Lanka Hospitals to the Prisons Hospital was suspended yesterday.
Sources said that although the prison ambulance arrived yesterday morning, the move was suspended.
Earlier, the Prison Chief Medical Officer who visited the hospital and checked MP Senaratne’s health recommended that the MP be transferred to the Prisons Hospital or the National Hospital.
