Navy installs disinfection chamber at Colombo National Hospital

The Navy has installed a disinfection chamber, built by the Navy’s Research and Development (R&D) Unit, at the Outpatient Department (OPD) of the National Hospital in Colombo.

The chamber has been built at the request of the Deputy Director General of the hospital from the Commander of the Navy.

The Navy has installed a number of similar disinfection chambers at several hospitals at the request of health authorities under the Naval Social Responsibility Project, the Navy said in a press release.
