Navy recovers 110 kg of cannabis hidden in the northern coast

Sri Lankan Navy personnel have recovered a stock of Kerala Cannabis (Ganja) hidden in the coastal land in the North.

Naval personnel attached to Northern Naval Command recovered the haul of Cannabis weighing 110 Kg enclosed in 50 polythene packs and concealed in a shrub land at Thaleiadi in Maradankeni coastal area.

The recovered stock of cannabis is estimated to worth over Rs. 10 million.

The stock is due to be handed over to the Sri Lanka Police for further investigation.
