New British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka appointed from August

Sarah Hulton OBE has been appointed as the new British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka in succession to James Dauris.

Hulton will take up her appointment during August, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) said. 

Dauris will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment, the FCO added.

Hulton, who is currently the Deputy Director of Human Resources Directorate of the FCO, has previously served as the Head of FCO’s Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Department, Asia Pacific Directorate as well as the Head of Political Section in Harare, Zimbabwe.
