New Chief Justice

President Maithripala Sirisena appointed Attorney General Jayantha Jayasuriya as the new Chief Justice.  Jayasuriya took his oaths as Chief Justice before Sirisena at the President’s Office yesterday. The President appointed Solicitor General Dappula De Livera as Acting Attorney General.
