New Chinese Ambassador calls on Speaker

New People’s Republic of China Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan yesterday paid a courtesy call on Speaker Karu Jayasuriya at Parliament. During the discussions, the Speaker acknowledged that China has been a long-standing friend and supporter of Sri Lanka and expressed the hope that bilateral ties will be further strengthened.
