New members nominated for COPE and COPA

The Parliamentary Committee of Selection has nominated members to serve in the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and Committee on Public Accounts (COPA).

Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena yesterday announced in Parliament that notwithstanding the provisions of the Standing Order 120 of the Parliament and the resolution adopted by Parliament on 10 August 2022, the following Members have been nominated by the Committee of Selection to serve in the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) in terms of the motion agreed to by Parliament on 29 August 2022.
