No-deal SJB Govt. will come into power next: Marikkar 

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) party Spokesman MP S.M. Marikkar says the next Government to be elected will be an SJB Government led by its leader Sajith Premadasa.

“A no-deal Government will come into power led by Sajith Premadasa and the Minister of Defence will be Sarath Fonseka,” he said, adding therefore those who issue illegal orders and those who follow them will be held answerable.

Marikkar made these comments during a press conference held this week. According to him, the SJB Government will be responsible to deliver justice through the implementation of the law, bringing thieves of public funds before justice and recovering the stolen funds.

“Therefore, I would like to remind everyone to think twice before stealing. Either you will be punished according to natural justice or you will be punished and imprisoned for life according to the country’s law following investigations after the change of Government. I would therefore advise everyone to stop stealing from the public,” he said.

Commenting on the gazetting of several high-security zones, Marikkar said President Ranil Wickremesinghe has done so in fear. “The resistance against the Government now is fuelled by the hunger of the people. It will not be easy to escape their wrath,” he added.
