Obituary: Savimon Urugodawatta

A retired consultant to the Ministry of Science and Technology and a writer Savimon Urugodawatta (85) has passed away after a brief illness.

He is the father of former Sri Lanka Ambassador to Vietnam Hassanthi Dissanayake, Himali of the Board of Investment and Bindu of the SARRC Cultural Centre.

The body remains at 145/11, 13th Lane, Edirisinghe Road, Nugegoda and leaves residence on Saturday, 26 October at 4.00 p.m for cremation at Kirulapone Cemetery at 5.00 p.m
