Health officials confirmed one COVID-19 fatality on Saturday, with a total of 16,481 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.27% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.41% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.32% are below 30 years. The COVID-19 fatality confirmed on Saturday was from the 30 to 59 age group.
The Department of Government Information states that the COVID-19 death confirmed on Saturday was male and a total of 9,300 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 7,181 COVID-19 deaths are female.
