One COVID-19 death confirmed

Health officials confirmed one COVID-19 death on Monday, with a total of 16,497 COVID-19 fatalities confirmed to date.

The COVID-19 death confirmed on Monday was from the over-60 age group, which accounts for 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 22.41% of the COVID-19 deaths are from the 30 to 59 age group and 1.32% are from the under-30 age group.

A total of 9,310 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,187 deaths are female. The COVID-19 death confirmed on Monday was male.
