One COVID-19 death confirmed

Health officials confirmed one COVID-19 death on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,504.

The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.4% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.31% are below 30 years. The COVID-19 death confirmed on Tuesday was over 60 years.

The COVID-19 death confirmed on Tuesday was male and a total of 9,316 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male. The Epidemiology Unit states that 7,188 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are female.
