One COVID-19 death confirmed

Health officials confirmed one COVID-19 death on Thursday, raising the COVID-19 death toll to 16,508.

The COVID-19 death confirmed yesterday was from the 30 to 59 age group. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.4% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.31% are below 30 years. A total of 9,319 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,189 are female. The COVID-19 death confirmed on Thursday was male.
