One more COVID-19 death brings fatalities to 538

One more COVID-19 death that occurred on Wednesday brought the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 538.

According to a statement issued by the Department of Government Information, the individual was 60 years old and resided in Ibbagamuwa. He tested positive for COVID-19 at the Colombo North Teaching Hospital and was admitted to the Colombo East Base Hospital. On Wednesday, he died of trauma of blood poisoning and COVID-pneumonia.
