Pakistan HC launches new-look website

High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmat, unveiled the new interface of the High Commission’s official website yesterday.

At the occasion, the High Commissioner said that the new website would become a one-stop gateway for visitors to Pakistan with essential information highlighting the country’s rich cultural heritage.

The portal offers photos and videos on various tourism destinations in Pakistan and necessary information for Sri Lankan nationals who wish to visit Pakistan. It also provides important links of various departments and organisations of the Pakistani Government as well as official media outlets. It contains wide-ranging details of Pakistan’s Buddhist and Gandhara heritage in the form of books and other publications, which can easily be downloaded.

The website also offers comprehensive information about the activities of the High Commission and various development projects in Sri Lanka supported and sponsored by the Pakistani Government. The website’s URL is www.pakistanhc.lk.
