Police curfew imposed countrywide

Police curfew has been imposed countrywide with immediate effect until further notice. The move follows tense situation in Galle Face after Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) supporters demolishing the GotaGoGama peaceful protest site today. Over 20 people were injured in the incident sparking protests in several parts of the country.
