Police may seek court order to disperse crowds

Police may seek a court order today to disperse the crowds gathered at Galle Face in Colombo calling on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to resign.

The protests which began a week ago have grown in number over the past few days but so far there has been minimal Police interference except for those directing traffic.
