The Police has arrested 1,327 persons who violated curfew regulations and detained 312 vehicles used by them in a 24-hour period ending at 6 a.m. yesterday. According to the Police Media Unit, 14,795 persons who violated curfew and 3,665 vehicles used by them have been taken into custody since curfew regulations came into effect on 20 March. Legal action will be taken against the violators and their vehicles may be detained for the duration of the curfew, the Police said in a press release.
