Police seek public assistance against fraudsters misusing President’s name

Police headquarters has issued directions to relevant Police officials to take strict action against people who fraudulently pose as Coordinating Secretaries to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa or pretend to have close links to him in order to deceive people and unlawfully influence them.

The Police request assistance from the public in their respective areas by providing information of such people who are involved in such illegal activities to enable the Police to take stern action against them.
