Power cut only for Southern Province today: PUCSL

Electricity regulator Public Utilities Commission (PUCSL) yesterday assured that all provinces will have power, except for the Southern Province.

The schedule for Southern Province power cut will be notified before 12 noon today, the PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.

Accordingly, there will be a one hour or one-and-a-half hour power cut will within the Southern Province only today.

He said that all other provinces will get electricity without any interruption.
