President adjourns Parliament till 3 December

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday adjourned the Parliament till 9:30 a.m. on 3 December, following the delivery of the Government’s policy statement during the inaugural session of the 10th Parliament.

The policy statement outlined the administration’s vision and priorities for the new Parliamentary term, marking the beginning of a pivotal legislative period for Sri Lanka. The adjournment allows lawmakers to prepare for the upcoming sessions, where the Government’s agenda will be discussed and debated.
