President appoints new SLFP organisers

A group of newly appointed organisers of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) received their letters of appointment from President Maithripala Sirisena on Saturday.

The new appointees in Kurunegala District are: Kuliyapitiya electorate organiser Dharmasiri Dissanayake, Bingiriya electorate organiser Athula Wijesinghe, Kurunegala district organiser Sampath Susantha Katawalagedara and Puttalam district organiser Shantha Herath.

Several district organisers appointed to the Ampara district also received appointment letters from the President. Ampara electorate organiser Shriyani Wijewickrema, Kalmunai electorate organiser U.M. Nizar, Pottuvil electorate organiser A.M. Abdul Majid and Sammanthurai electorate organiser A.B.A. Mohomad.

Following organisers also received their appointment letters from the President. Colombo East organiser Pradeep Jayawardene, Gampaha district organiser Indika Rajapaksha, Ratnapura district organiser Kuda Bandara Illukpitiya, Karandenida co-organiser Ramya Sri Wijetunga, Trincomalee district organisers Akram and Jawahir and Batticaloa district organisers Meena Darshanee and Sudarshan.
