President calls Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has yesterday telephoned Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

During the call, historical ties between the two countries were reviewed, with the leaders stressing on the importance of continuing to strengthen economic cooperation as well as trade and energy ties.

The call also touched on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
