President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday departed the island for a three-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Dissanayake will undertake the visit to the UAE from 10 to 13 February, at the invitation of UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to take part in the ‘World Government Summit 2025’.
The Head of State is accompanied by Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath, Energy Minister Kumara Jayakody, and 13 other high-ranking officials of the Government on the visit.
President Dissanayake will address the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai and hold bilateral discussions with President Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on a range of areas of mutual interest.
