President removes four State Ministers

President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday removed four State Ministers from their positions with immediate effect. 

They include; State Minister for Ports and Aviation Premalal Jayasekara, State Minister for Power and Energy Indika Anuruddha, State Minister for Agriculture Mohan Priyadarshana de Silva and State Minister for Highways Siripala Gamlath. 

President’s Media Division said this decision was made under the authority granted to the President by Article 47(3) (a) of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
