Kotte Vihara registrar and Chief Sanghanayake for Japan and South East Asia Ven. Pelpola Vipassi Thera says that the current President Ranil Wickramasinghe, who has long political experience, should be given time to build the country.
The prelate also pointed out that everyone should support the President’s plan to solve the people’s problems by freeing the country from the current economic crisis, away from the method of ousting the rulers by holding protests.
The Maha Nayake Thera pointed out that the current President has fearlessly accepted the challenge at a time when the country is facing a disaster and expressed confidence that he will be able to overcome all the challenges.
