President visits Ministry of Lands

President Maithripala Sirisena visited the Ministry of Lands and observed its functioning this week.

After inquiring into process of granting title deeds at the Land Commissioner General’s Department, the President explained the necessity of make more efficient those activities to provide valuable service to the public.

Also, President Sirisena pointed out the importance of fulfilling duties of the department in a more systematic manner, to achieve success in National Program for the Grant of One Million Deeds in 2019 a success.
