President visits Parliament

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited Parliament yesterday to observe the day’s proceedings.

He arrived in Parliament at around 11:15 a.m. and was escorted to the chamber by Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardena along with State Ministers Kanchana Wijesekera and Indika Anuruddha.

He remained in the House until around 12 noon while question time was in progress.
