President Maithripala Sirisena paid a visit to the Western Province Governor’s Office in Rajagiriya on Monday morning 1 April. On arrival, the President was received by Western Province Governor M. Azath S. Salley.

President Sirisena was accompanied by a team of senior Government officials from the Western Provincial Council and heads of local bodies.The President, posed for a souvenir picture with the Governor and his staff who greeted him at the office.

The President offered his best wishes to the Governor for the success of his activities.  

Governor Salley thanked the President for the visit, which he said, had boosted the morale of his staff.
