Prof. Rosa appointed as Chairman of Atomic Energy Board

Prof. S.R.D. Rosa has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Atomic Energy Board by Minister of Passenger Transport Management, Power and Energy Mahinda Amaraweera.

He accepted the appointment letter from Minister Amaraweera at the Petroleum Ministry premises yesterday. A graduate of the Department of Atomic Sciences of the University of Colombo, Rosa is also a Post Graduate in the same field. Prof. Rosa served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Atomic Energy Board from 2015-2017 He has authored several books in the Physics section for the GCE Advanced Level students. The maturity and maturity of the vast knowledge available in the field of physics and atomic science will be a major contribution to the advancement of the Atomic Energy Board.
