Robber throws chili powder, gets away with bank money

A robber threw chili powder on the security guards of a bank in Wattala and got away with Rs. 750,000 yesterday, the Police said.

The robber had arrived on a motorcycle to the bank in the afternoon and threw the chili powder on the security guards at the entrance.

The suspect had then entered the bank, stolen the money and fled.(Colombo Gazette)
