The Rotary Friendship Exchange Program provides a means through which Rotarians in one part of the world can experience life in another country or culture, while their families get the opportunity to host Rotarians around the world. In addition to experiencing other cultures and making lasting friendships, an exchange provides a strong foundation for carrying out other international activities and service projects.

Rotary District 3220 Sri Lanka received a team of 12 Rotarians of various professions from Oregon, U.S.A.   They visited various historical and culturally important places in Sri Lanka covering Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Colombo during their stay.

Rtn. Ned Preble lead the team of these Rotarians who were well-received by Rotary Distract Governor Dushan Soza, Past President Adhil Rafeik, District International Chairman past President A.P. Jayaraj,  District Rotary Friendship Exchange Chairman and Team Leader for Oregon RFE with the Host Rotarians of Rotary District 3220.
