SJB appoints committee to amend party constitution

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) last evening appointed a commission to amend the party constitution. 

The SJB Working Group met yesterday and appointed a committee to modernise the party constitution to be in line with the needs of modern society, SJB parliamentarian Eran Wickramaratne told Daily FT. 

“Our leader, Sajith Premadasa is very democratic in the way we do things in the party,” Wickramaratne said, adding that the committee was an inclusive forum with parliamentarians and party members alike. (AF)
