SL and Pakistan sign MOU to cooperate in dealing with corruption

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Pakistan and the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), Sri Lanka yesterday signed a MOU on mutual cooperation in criminal matters.

It was signed at the office of the CIABOC, Colombo. The High Commissioner of Pakistan Major General (Retd.) Faheem Ul Aziz HI (M) signed on behalf of the NAB while Director General W.K.D. Wijeratne signed for CIABOC.  

The MOU endeavours strengthening collaborative efforts against corruption and money laundering as well as capacity and institutional building between the respective institutions of the two countries.
