SL commemorates tsunami victims

A two-minute silence was observed yesterday from 9:25 a.m. to 9:27 a.m. in remembrance of all Sri Lankans who lost their lives in the tsunami catastrophe of 2004. 

The 17th year commemoration yesterday commenced with the multi-religious activities followed by an offering of flowers at the Tsunami Memorial in Pereliya, Hikkaduwa by the families of those killed in the natural disaster.
