FriMi, Sri Lanka’s first ever Digital Bank, Mobile Wallet and Payment System all wrapped up in one single App powered by Nations Trust Bank has joined hands with Sri Lanka’s national telecommunication provider, Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) to bring to you yet another first of its kind– the SLT Bill Presentment option.

FriMi’s latest Bill Presentment feature gives customers the option of checking the outstanding amount as well as the last bill cycle amount for your SLT fixed line, CDMA, PEO TV and Broadband internet bills in real time while settling it at their convenience, which is whenever or wherever with just a few clicks.

A customer can also view the last three transactions of payments made to SLT via FriMi while having the entire history of your FriMi transactions on the history tab of the App. Also, just in case there is another FriMi user making the payment for an SLT connection that’s under one’s national identity card number, he or she can delegate this payment to them and know for sure if the payment is done.

“The SLT technical team has provided the necessary interfaces to the Bank enabling required security features and this information will be further enhanced with future developments enabling FriMi customers to view a PDF version of the bill via additional interfaces” SLT Chief Information Officer D.W.R. Wijeweera said.

By adding SLT bill to the FriMi App and allowing real-time viewing whilst paying bills with just a few taps on the App, will greatly enhance customer convenience. This partnership will significantly increase customer convenience and enhance the customers’ experience with the company.

Speaking on this partnership and the ease of using FriMi, NTB Chief Operating Officer/Senior Executive Vice President ThilakPiyadigama said: “Sri Lanka is propelling itself to become a seamless Nation where transactions are at the ease of a touch. This extension will increase customer satisfaction and ease the process of paying outstanding and current bills anywhere at any time. We thrive on delivering the best solutions for our customers as well as the many benefits offered through FriMi and we hope that we can continue our progression towards a complete cashless payment future.”
