Sajin replaces Shan Vijayalal as SLFP Ambalangoda organiser 

Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has appointed former MP Sajin Vass Gunawardena as its organiser for the Ambalangoda electorate. 

Gunawardena replaces MP Shan Vijayalal De Silva, the previous organiser who recently crossed over to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB). The SJB has since appointed De Silva as its Ambalangoda electoral organiser. 

Former President and current Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Maithripala Sirisena, made this decision on Wednesday following consultations with the electoral organisers of the SLFP in the Galle district.

The party asserted that all district SLFP activists assembled at the SLFP headquarters declared their continued support for the party and unanimously expressed that Gunawardena is the most suitable candidate for the Ambalangoda electorate.
