Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Khalid Hamoud Nasser Alkahtani and European Union (EU) Election Observation Mission Chief Observer and European Parliament Member José Ignacio Sánchez Amor met with Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya in Colombo last week.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the Government’s primary objective in the first two years is to uplift the economy. Areas such as trade, tourism, and administration are also being prioritised.
Ambassador of the European Union to Sri Lanka Carmen Moreno and the Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation to Sri Lanka accompanied Chief Amor. Officials from the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Prime Minister’s Office also participated in the meeting.
