Six prison inmates escape at Baddegama Court

Six detainees who were brought to the Baddegama Magistrate’s Court yesterday have escaped from custody, the Prisons Department said.

The escapees are inmates of the Galle Prison who were transported to the court by prison guards to be produced before the courts for pending cases.
