SriLankan extends passenger service suspension till 30 April

SriLankan Airlines has extended the temporary suspension of its passenger services till 30 April.

Earlier the National Carrier announced the suspension from 8 to 21 April.

It said the carrier was compelled to temporarily suspend all flights in view of the travel restrictions imposed by the destinations it operates to.

In its latest statement issued today SriLankan cited the same travel restrictions being continued by the countries in its global network.

The airline’s cargo services however will continue to operate from its worldwide network and special flights will be made as and when required.
