St. John Sri Lanka Cadets join International First Aid Competition in South Africa

St. John's Cadet team to South Africa

On the invitation of the St. John Priory of South Africa, a team from  St. John Ambulance Association & Brigade in Sri Lanka will participate in the St. John International Cadet Camp and First Aid Competition to be held from 3 to 13 January in Cape Town, South Africa.

St. John Sri Lanka with a history of 113 years is the leading provider of first aid training and first aid services in Sri Lanka, will send a team of 27. St John Cadets and four officials to participate at this International Cadet Camp and the First Aid Competition. 

Participants from many countries including Canada, England, Kenya, New Zealand, Mauritius, Wales, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Northern Ireland will attend the St. John International Cadet Camp.

The Cadets posed for a photograph with SJA Sri Lanka Chairman Dr. Sarath Samarage, Team Leader Sarath Dayananda, and Ajantha Jayawardena (Chief Administrative Officer) at the St. John Headquarters.

Jayawardhana, K.P.P.V.L. Kahatapitiya, D.S. Serasinghe, T.G.S. Fernando, S.M. Athukorala, D.T.S. Athukorala, H.D.M.K. Jayasekara, T.I. Kuruwitaarachchige, S.R.Senevirathne, K.M.S.K. Divithotawela, A.H.S.M. Induranga, S.D. Hettige and A.V.B. Samarathunge.
