State TV, radio get new heads

Media Minister Mangala Samaraweera has appointed new heads to chair the boards of State television and radio institutions, the Media Ministry said in a statement yesterday. 

The Ministry of Finance and Media said Film Directress Inoka Sathyanganee has been appointed as the Chairperson of State television, Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.

Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media Thilaka Jayasundara has been appointed as the Chairperson of Independent Television Network (ITN).

Siddeek Mohamed Farook is the new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation.

Uma Rajamanthri is the new Chairperson of SELACINE, a State production unit.
