Subsequent to an appeal by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya

Subsequent to an appeal by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), people in several areas yesterday lit a lamp at 6:06 p.m. in memory of those who have died due to COVID-19. SJB rallied the public for this initiative to also pray for an end to the pandemic and recovery of current COVID patients in hospitals or homes as well as seek blessings for members of the armed forces and police who are engaged in the battle to eradicate the pandemic
