Health officials confirmed three COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,419.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.29% of the total COVID-19 deaths are from the over-60 age group, 22.4% are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.32% are from the under-30 age group.
The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Wednesday were from the over-60 age group.
Two COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday were male and one was female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 9,260 fatalities are male and 7,159 are female.
