Three COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed three COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 16,492.

All three COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Sunday were from the over-60 age group, which accounts for 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths. The Epidemiology Unit states that 22.41% of the total COVID-19 deaths are between 30 and 59 years and 1.32% are below 30 years.

A total of 9,306 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,186 deaths are female. Of the COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Sunday, two were male and one was female.
