Transfers of top police officers on operational requirements

The Police Media Unit said the transfers of several senior officers had been made according to the recommendations of the Inspector General of Police with the approval of the National Police Commission with immediate effect on operational requirements.

According to the Police Media Unit, 20 police officers have been transferred.

Among those transfers are six DIGs, three Superintendents of Police, two Assistant Superintendents of Police, three Chief Inspectors and six Inspectors of Police.
