Two new Secretaries appointed to Agri, Media Ministries

Two new Secretaries were appointed yesterday to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Mass Media. 

D.M.L.D. Bandaranayake was appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture with immediate effect. He replaces Senior Prof. Udith K. Jayasinghe.

Anusha Palpita was appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media with effect from 1 January 2022. He will be replacing Jagath Wijeweera. 

Palpita is currently the Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Policies and Plan Implementation held by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
