UNP launches election campaign via digital platforms

The United National Party (UNP) will launch its election campaign tomorrow via its digital platforms from 4 pm onwards from ‘Sirikotha’. “The campaign launch of the country’s largest political party in Sri Lanka, UNP will be held at ‘Sirikotha’ tomorrow,” UNP Central Media Unit said in a statement.

Organised by the UNP Central Media Unit, this event will see the party adopt a new progressive approach to communicating with the public around the country. A meeting will be held in every electorate in the country tomorrow with the participation of 100 people, abiding by the national health guidelines.

Considering the situation, the UNP will launch its campaign via digital platforms from Sirikotha. For the first time in Sri Lanka’s political history, every electorate will be connected via technology. Party supporters will be given the opportunity to participate in the launch of the campaign, while ensuring the safety of our fellow citizens.

“The public is invited to join this digital journey by logging on the UNP’s Facebook, YouTube and Instagram pages from 4 pm tomorrow,” the statement said.
