Vaccination card mandatory from mid-September for persons over 30 visiting public places

All persons over the age of 30 will be soon required to carry with them their vaccination cards when visiting public places. This will come into effect on 15 September.

According to the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of the COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), all persons over 30 visiting public places will be required to be fully vaccinated.

At present, 11,672,082 persons have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 4,017,085 persons have received both doses. This includes 334,020 persons vaccinated on Thursday.

The Epidemiology Unit states that, on Thursday, 76,694 persons received the first dose of Sinopharm and 217,962 persons received the second dose of Sinopharm. In total, the first dose of the vaccine has been administered to 9,246,429 persons and the second dose to 3,116,114 persons.

On Thursday, 31,041 persons received the first dose of AstraZeneca and 955 persons received the second dose of the vaccine. This raises the number of persons to receive the first dose of the vaccine to 1,253,473 and the second dose to 869,853.

The first dose of Pfizer has been administered to 251,963 persons and the second dose has been administered to 16,602 persons. This includes persons vaccinated on Thursday, of which 117 received the first dose of Pfizer and 7,251 received the second dose of Pfizer.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, the first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine has been administered to 761,136 persons.

A total of 159,081 persons have received the first dose of Sputnik V and 14,516 persons have received the second dose of Sputnik V.
